Lose Three Stone in Three Months

Lou Williams who works with Cleaning Services at UWE Bristol is did a sponsored slim.  Her target was to lose three stone in three months -  by the middle of December.  She achieved this target and more.  And in so doing she raised £473 in sponsorship from colleagues and friends.  The photo shows Lou handing over the cheque to David from the Campaign.  Click thumbnail to enlarge the photo.

Bristol Half Marathon

A total of seven runners ran in support of the Campaign.  All finished the race and did really well.  Already three people have expressed an interest in supporting the Campaign in the 2007 half marathon.  More

Pounds for Lbs

Caroline Bannister who works at the UWE in Bristol did a sponsored slim to raise funds.  By the deadline date she had lost 15 lbs and raised over £200.  Well done Caroline and thank you very much. 

Bone Marrow Bike Ride
Lucie Henley of Bristol organised a group of friends to raise funds through sponsorship in Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride.  Lucy and her brother Will were joined by eight other friends to complete the 13 mile course on a beautiful sunny day.  The bike ride started from Millenium Square in Central Bristol.  The team are pictured on the left.  The first photo shows the bike riding team and the second one shows some of the riders at the start in Millenium Square.  They were able to raise over £400.  Click on thumbnails to enlarge photos.
